Peter Robertson
Peter Robertson started Peak Financial Group in 1987 and has been a Financial Planner for more than 30 years. He specializes in comprehensive financial planning, estate planning strategies, key executive planning, business owner planning, and wealth management for ultra-high-net-worth clients
Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Humboldt in 1979 and attended graduate courses at the University of Saint Andrews, Fife, Scotland. He completed his Chartered Financial Consultant’s (ChFC®) professional designation in 1991. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 22, and 63 registrations and is licensed in Life Insurance.
Peter lives with his wife, Diana, in Newport Beach. He has been active in various organizations, including The Order of St. John and Boy Scouts of America, and he has also supported local water polo and swim teams. He enjoys hiking with Diana and their two sons, Chris and Danny, as well as participating in other outdoor activities, including mountain trekking, swimming, skiing, stand-up paddle boarding, and traveling with family and friends. To celebrate his 60th birthday, with his son Chris, Peter climbed to 22,000 feet elevation on Argentina’s Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere. In April 2022, he trekked to Everest Base Camp with his wife, Diana, and his son, Chris. Successful summits include Tanzania’s Mt. Kilimanjaro; California’s Mt. Whitney, Mt. Wilson, Mt. Baldy, Saddleback’s Santiago Peak, San Jacinto, and San Gorgonio; Washington’s Mt. St. Helens; Hawaii’s Mauna Kea; and Colorado “fourteeners” Longs Peak, Mt. of the Holy Cross, Mt. Aeolus, Kit Carson Peak, and Challenge Point.
